Alliance Homes Supports Gas Safety Week 2023

We’re supporting Gas Safety Week 2023 (11-17 September) and reminding customers the importance of gas safety and how they can help us make sure their homes are safe. Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing top tips on how you can stay safe on our Facebook page. 

As part of our commitment to gas safety, in 2022-23 we performed 9,630 gas safety services (including Brighter Places homes) and can report that 99% of our homes are compliant against our gas safety requirements. Only with the cooperation of our customers can we perform inspections and service checks on their homes. 

Andy Peach, Gas Manager, said “We appreciate the support of our customers in helping us complete our legal obligation to ensure the gas safety of our homes. Annual service checks not only keep our homes, customers and their families safe but it's also a good opportunity to make sure everything else is in good order”.  

Gas Safety Week is organised by Gas Safe Register, which maintains a list of all engineers who are legally permitted to work on gas appliances in the UK. Alliance Homes is a Gas Safe Registered business, and all our gas engineers are registered. 

The week is an opportunity for us to raise awareness of gas safety and the importance of taking care of your gas appliances.
